The story starts from right where the Avengers 4 left it. Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is still reeling under the loss of his mentor, his idol, Tony Stark. So, it’s only natural Parker wants to get a break from his usual superhero life. He sees the overseas school trip as a perfect escape from his Spiderman responsibilities. But his plans don’t succeed as Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) approaches him there and hands down home his next big task. And comes along the ride is Quentin Beck a.k.a. Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) to aid Spiderman! Will he be able to step up? That remains to be seen.

This is the MCU movie which is right next in line to the epic Avengers: Endgame. So, of course, the hopes are pretty high for this one. And this one doesn’t disappoint at all. Tom Holland has proved that he can take over the responsibility of a whole MCU film on his own shoulders pretty well. He has very well brought in the nuances in his torn-between states of a high school student (with a huge crush on MJ (Zendaya)) and the big responsibility to fit in the shoes of Tony Stark. Meanwhile, Gyllenhall’s unpredictable Mysterio has made the rule super interesting with his performance. A great Marvel Studios’ creation, all in all.

Spiderman- Far From Home is a must for all MCU fans and followers. This movie plays an important role in taking the narrative of the altered world, as left by the last installment of Avengers, forward. And, it’s indeed a treat. So, don’t miss it.
