Another good news for the PUBG enthusiasts, as the Lite version of the game has been launched. With PUBG Lite version, PC users can play it for free. If you registered for the game’s beta testing of the game back in June, you’re very well eligible for playing it now with some added benefits. There are some extra goodies for the registered players – Cheetah pattern parachute skin and a Tiger-finish M416 skin are some of the included in-game treats. But overall, all India gamers are in for a treat as the developers are giving a privilege of downloading and installing it even before its launch!
The official Facebook page of PUBG too talked about its grand release in India. The page stated, “We are thrilled to announce that PUBG LITE will soon be expanding to India!”
However, India is not the only country where the Lite version is up for a launch. Countries like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are having a big release as well. However, not all these countries had the advantage of pre-downloading.
VP and Head of PUBG LITE at PUBG Corporation, Brady Choi, too, revealed the Asia launch of PUBG Lite in a statement, saying “We are very pleased to be able to introduce PUBG LITE to users all over the world. We have a lot of passionate PUBG players in South Asia, so it represents an important area of focus for us.”
The game which took the whole world by storm is a frequent app for mobile users. However, PUBG didn’t make generate much enthusiasm for PC users. But now that is the thing of past as Lite version is here with minimal hardware requirements. All you need is a PC powered by a 2.4GHz, Core i3 processor with 4GB storage and Intel HD Graphics 4000. However, for smooth performance, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 and AMD Radeon HD7870 is recommended. Moreover, the Lite version is free to use throughout, unlike its fully loaded PC version.
In case, you haven’t downloaded the game on your PC yet, here’s how to do it:
- Go to the official website.
