• Shreyas Iyer’s talent as batsman needs to be utilized and he should be given a chance in the upcoming one-day matches against West Indies.
  • Navdeep Saini needs to be trusted more and given more responsibility. His debut performance could not have been better as he took 3 wickets giving away just 17 runs.
  • Kedar Jadhav, who is yet again the part of the one-day squad was not able to do much in the World cup this year and has to prove his worth as an all-rounder. He hasn’t been able to do much with the bat and has not been given any opportunities as a bowler.
  • The team needs to stop depending blindly on the top order and middle order needs to take the charge, it can’t be that if the top order fails to perform the entire team becomes helpless. The perfect example for this would be the India versus New Zealand, semifinal match of the ICC World cup 2019.
  • Rishabh Pant needs to show a more consistent play so that he can be given more responsibilities in future.
