India’s favourite cricket ground will get to witness the clash between India and Australia on 14th of January 2020. Australia’s tour of India will include three one day internationals taking place in Mumbai, Rajkot and Bangaluru respectively.
It will be interesting to see how the Indian team faces this challenge as they have won the previous home series against West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. But Australia is a team which is known to conquer foreign grounds easily.
One more opportunity for Rishabh Pant
Let us talk about the pet topic of Indian cricket, Rishabh Pant. Pant has been struggling since the past six months now and this series once again will be an opportunity for him to redeem himself. The wicketkeeper/batsman will be under scrutiny for sure.
More from Shardul Thakur and KL Rahul
One thing I will be keeping an eye on will be Shardul Thakur’s performance in this series. Thakur has shown his class in the past few matches and fans want more of him.
Along with that, KL Rahul’s performance will also be anticipated as he has been playing well since the last few matches. It will be interesting to see who gets to open the innings, Rahul or Shikhar Dhawan.
Indian side seems to be preparing well.
The match starts at 1:30 PM IST.
