This will definitely be a game that the men in blue will always remember, sadly.
India’s batting line up fails
The Indian batting order was unable to do much today. KL Rahula and Shikhar Dhawan did try to put forth a good game but failed to do so. Dhawan hit 74 in 91 balls while Rahul hit 47 in 61. The Australian bowlers did an amazing ball and managed to restrict the Indian side at just 255/10.
Both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma got out early today. Rishabh Pant once again failed to impress. The high point he gets back to playing domestic cricket for some time. Pant had a concussion today after being hit by a ball and is currently under observation. Kohli might come back to play at number 3 again.
Mitchell Starc took 3 wickets while Pat Cummins and Kane Richardson took 2 wickets each. The Australian bowlers had an impressive economy rate.
India’s poor bowling attack
The bowling was even worse than the batting. Australia won the game by 10 wickets. Indian bowling side with bowlers like Jaspirt Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav and Navdeep Saini failed to do anything. Well, it is hard to imagine that all of them were unable to take even a single wicket today.
David Warner scored 128* in 112 balls while Aron Finch hit 110* runs in 114 balls.
Besides that, there has been a debate going on if Rishabh Pant should continue in the team and whatever happened with Sanju Samson is also being highlighted today.
Australia now leads the series with 1-0.
