Mustafizur Rahman’s 5 wicket haul.

Bangladesh’s bowling attack today was lead by Mustafizur Rahman who took a 5 wicket haul in 10 overs giving away 59 runs and 29 dots. Bangladesh gives a tough fight.

Bangladesh gave quite a tough fight to India but ended up being prey to India’s superb bowling attack. Jasprit Bumrah gave everyone quite a scare when he left the field for sometime in the middle of the game. Bumrah once again proved why he is the number one bowler in the world by taking 4 wickets in 10 overs.

Hardik Pandya’s crucial 3 wicket haul was responsible for dismissing Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das and the dangerous in-form Shakib-Al-Hasan.

Al-Hasan scored 66 off 74 balls and passed the total of 500 runs in the tournament. Mohammed Saifuddin ended up scoring a half-century in just 38 balls but it was too late for Bangladesh to come back in the match.

Though Mohammed Shami’s over which gave away 17 runs had everyone biting their nails. Shami, Buvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal took one wicket each. Bangladesh ended at 286/10 in 47.5 overs and India won the match by 28 runs.

India stands at number 2 with 13 points.
