Indian pacer Kuldeep Yadav came up with a pain in shoulder and will not be able to play in the third and final test match against South Africa. The last test starts starts on 19th of October in Ranchi.
Post Kuldeep’s complain, the selectors decided that Jharkhand Cricketer Shahbaz Nadeem, who is a left-arm spinner will be added to the Indian squad.
Nadeem has a pretty good career graph in domestic cricket, as he was the highest wicket taker in Ranji Trophy, 2015-16 and 17. He also took 15 wickets in India A’s tour of West Indies this year and is also a capable batsman at the lower order. He has scored seven half centuries and one century in the first class cricket.
India’s squad for 3rd Test: Virat Kohli (c), Mayank Agarwal, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Hanuma Vihari, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Shubman Gill, Shahbaz Nadeem
India has won the first two test matches with a big margin and currently lead the points table for the world test championship.
