The board of cricket control in India has finally agreed to come under National Anti-Doping Agency. The board has given in writing that it would follow NADA’s anti-doping policy.

Sports secretary Radheshyam Jhulaniya said, “All cricketers will now be tested by NADA. This also implies that BCCI can become a designated National Sports federation (NSF) which means that it can be urged to come under Right to information act (RTI).

Though BCCI has never showed it’s inclination in becoming a NSF and BCCI CEO Rahul Johri has declared that they are not interested in coming under government control and are happy in remaining an autonomous body.
